SnowFlirt.com Tips for Advertisers

Always have a price on available days

Our site data shows that advertisers who utilize the price calendar function, included with all accommodation ads receive up to 40 times more hits to their display ad then those businesses that choose not to or neglect to place a price next to each day. If your pricing is simple and whole weeks or months have the same rates it is easy and quick to set the price for several consecutive days at a time, if each day is different it will take a little longer but the data shows that it will be well worth your while.

Include top quality images on your ad

Photos sell places, and images really do tell a thousand words, not to mention the fact that a good quality image can also attract the website viewer's attention immediately. Utilize the four image place holders with four great images, if your place looks good inside and out make sure you include at least one shot of each, if you don't need the third or fourth photo place holder for pics of your own business then put in a photo of the view or simply a stunning snow shot, after all that is what our visitors are looking for.

If you have a logo, use it

On your display page, at the top of the right hand side of the screen there is a placeholder for a JPG or GIF logo, so why not use it. After all, a good clear logo makes your business look more professional plus it should tell the viewer something about your brand or style.

Check the punctuation and spelling, and proof read

Nothing makes businesses look more 'slap dash’ and backward then poorly constructed sentences and incorrectly spelt words. Make sure you read your text out loud to yourself once you’ve written it to make sure it flows and that the punctuation is in the right position. Also get a friend or family member to proof read it to make sure you haven’t missed anything.

Utilise all the available content fields

For SnowFlirt.com accommodation ads, there are optional fields in the template that include places for topics such as 'children and extra guests', 'getting here', 'privacy policy' and 'snow guarantee'. Advertisers who utilise these spaces (even just with one or two brief sentences - which is incidently all you're often allowed by the character limits we have set in these areas) seem to answer many more of the site viewer / potential guests questions and concerns, particularly when many of us are too shy to ask but really want to know prior to committing to a reservation.
